Chris McCarthy

Chris McCarthy,
Chiropractor and owner

Dr. Chris McCarthy graduated in 2010 from the Canadian Chiropractic Memorial College on the Dean’s list with cum laude honours and clinic honours. He joined the Collective Health team in 2012 and has been a partner since 2015.

Chris utilizes many therapeutic treatment approaches (including rehabilitation exercises, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, manipulations, and others) to help patients recover and get back to doing what they like to do!

In his time away from the clinic, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Sara and their three kids (Anna, Caleb and Finn) and their dog, Keji.

Blythe Martin

Blythe Martin,
Physiotherapist and owner

Blythe Martin graduated from Dalhousie University’s physiotherapy masters program in 2010, and joined The Physio Center team in 2013. She has been a partner at Collective Health Inc. since 2015.

She has completed special training certifications following her masters degree, including aqua therapy, advanced dry needling, and pelvic floor physiotherapy for women’s health issues.

The proud mother of Libby and Will, Blythe enjoys swimming, going to the beach, and hiking with her family.

Ken Arsenault

Ken Arsenault,
Physiotherapist

Ken graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in sports science, and then completed a physiotherapy degree in 1990. He has been working in private physiotherapy since 1991, first in Nova Scotia and then back on the island since 1996. 

Since graduating, Ken completed the Part A exam in orthopaedic manipulative therapy and has special training in concussion rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, dry needling, custom bracing and custom orthotics.

A native of Summerside, Ken enjoys hockey, karate and spending time with his family.

Jennifer Buote

Jennifer Buote,
Physiotherapist

Jennifer completed her post-secondary education at Dalhousie University, first with a bachelor of kinesiology degree with honours in 2009 and then from their physiotherapy masters program in 2012. She started her career working in the public sector, treating stroke survivors and patients with cancer and musculoskeletal injuries.

Jennifer joined the Collective Health team in 2013 and enjoys treating all ages, injuries and conditions. She has completed extra training in myofascial fascial release, acupuncture, rehabilitative Pilates and the McKenzie Method.

When she’s not chasing her two children, Jenn enjoys swimming, barre, crafts and travelling.

Jane McKillop

Jane McKillop,
Physiotherapist

Jane first developed a love for rehabilitation science when she studied at Acadia University, graduating with a bachelor of kinesiology degree with biology in 2011. She then followed up with a physiotherapy masters degree from Dalhousie University in 2014 and began working at the Annapolis Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville and at the Acadia Sports Therapy Clinic in Wolfville.

This Summerside native returned to PEI and joined the Collective Health team in 2016. Jane enjoys working with a wide variety of injuries, illnesses, and diseases, and her special interests include functional dry needling, hand rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal issues. Whether it is one injured patient or a whole sports team, Jane loves helping her clients return to full potential so they can attain their personal goals!

Outside of her clinic work, Jane enjoys travelling, rugby, hiking and anything outside.

Kayla Arsenault

Kayla Arsenault,
Physiotherapist

Kayla graduated from Dalhousie Masters of Physiotherapy program in 2019 after receiving her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with honours at UPEI in 2017.

Since graduating, she continues to enjoy treating varieties of ages, injuries and conditions and helping her clients reach their goals. She has continued her education by completing Sports First Responder Training and Advanced training of the Shoulder Complex, functional dry needling, and continues to look forward to developing her career as a physiotherapist. 

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys coaching figure skating, playing recreational sports, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.  

Nick Cameron

Nick Cameron,
Registered Massage Therapist

Nick was born and raised in Summerside, but spent many years living out of province while pursuing post-secondary education. He is an honours graduate of Eastern College’s massage therapy program, and holds memberships with Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and the College of Massage Therapists of PEI.

As a registered massage therapist, Nick enjoys focusing on post-operative scar tissue mobility and deep tissue massage. He is also a Level 1 fascial stretch therapist, offers manual lymphatic drainage (Level 1) treatments, and cupping with treatments.

Nick enjoys swimming, running, watching movies and spending time with his husband Richard and their dogs, Pearl and Cecilia.

Kerrie Thompson

Kerrie Thompson,
Registered Massage Therapist

Kerrie was born and raised in Kensington, PEI until moving to Moncton to attend massage therapy school in 2010, since there she has had a career as a registered massage therapist in Dieppe and Riverview. With nearly ten years of experience she has returned to PEI to continue her career on home soil. She is a member in good standing with the CMTNB and CMTPEI.

Kerrie had the nickname ‘neck guru’ at her clinic in Dieppe but also enjoys performing prenatal and cupping massage. She has certifications in treating people living with cancer and post-traumatic stress.

Outside of work Kerrie enjoys going to the movies, reading and relaxing at her mother’s cottage.

Truda Stavert

Truda Stavert,
Administrative Assistant

Truda graduated from Holland College’s medical services support program with a medical secretary diploma in 2012, specializing in transcription. She joined Collective Health team in 2012.

When she’s not enjoying quality time with her family, friends, and border collie, Truda also likes baking sweet treats, being outdoors, and doing photography.

Melanie Ramsay-Mugridge

Melanie Ramsay-Mugridge,
Clinic Manager

Melanie graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a bachelor of business administration degree in 1998. 

Melanie joined the Collective Health staff in 2016.

In her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies, adventuring outdoors, exploring new restaurants, yoga and travelling.

 

Paige Lidstone

Paige Lidstone,
Administrative Assistant

Paige graduated from Holland College with an administrative assistant diploma in 2020, and then joined the Collective Health team shortly after graduation.

She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her Great Pyrenees dog, Denver. Paige loves being outdoors, spending time on the water, and travelling.
